Method
1. Remove the spark plugs of the engine, use the hand crank to rotate the crankshaft, make the piston at the top dead center, hang the direct gear, and tighten the parking brake to prevent the compressed air from pushing the piston during the test.
2. Screw the air supply connector on the first cylinder at the compression top dead center, and connect the air exchange tube with the quick-change connector end to the output of the measuring instrument. At the same time, connect the air compressor to the input end of the test instrument. Turn off the instrument regulator valve (pulse the regulator knob when in use).
3. Start the air compressor to inflate, close when it is charged to 0.8MPa, prepare the chronograph stopwatch, quickly open the pressure regulating valve, press the stopwatch at the same time, record the dwell time, observe the change of the measured pressure gauge, when the gauge pressure drops At 0.4MPa, according to the stopwatch, the time taken to reduce the gauge pressure from 0.8 MPa to 0.4MPa is recorded. Using the length of this time to compare the similar machines, the degree of damage to the cylinder leakage can be diagnosed, and the longer the maintenance time is, The better the cylinder seal is; if the pressure is short, usually less than 10 seconds, the cylinder leaks seriously and must be repaired. In order to facilitate the test, the test sequence of each cylinder is carried out according to the firing order of the cylinders. One revolution of the crankshaft (180°) is used to test one cylinder.
Judging the leaking part
Start the air compressor, and supply air to the cylinder at the top dead center. Use a pressure regulating valve to control the pressure to 0.6 MPa. Listen carefully to the air leakage to judge the air leakage of the cylinder. If you hear a leaking sound at the throttle, the intake valve is not sealed. If you hear a leak at the muffler mouth of the exhaust pipe, the exhaust valve is not sealed. If you listen at the oil filler, it is generally There is a leaking sound, a slight small sound is normal, a loud sound is heard, and it feels that there is airflow, it is a serious air leak, indicating that the cylinder piston is not sealed at the joint, if there is a gas I bag in the radiator watering place It emerges from the water, indicating that the cylinder gasket is burnt out, causing the cylinder to collide with the waterway. If a leaking sound is heard at the spark plug of the adjacent cylinder of the cylinder, it indicates that the cylinder gasket burns between the two cylinders and the cylinder is flushed.
