Description:

This fiber otoscope is a classic medical device in ENT. The devices adopt the total refection of optical principle, and make the light path and observation of light tend to be coaxial through the optimization design, which increase the visual field of view. It is used to view the tympanic membrane and external ear canal to diagnose outer and middle ear pathologies.

– Removable magnifying lens with 3x magnification

(Able to insert external instruments once the magnifying lens is removed)

Locks better on the pictures than in reality. Overpriced.
Quality lacking:
- metal coating on the part where the speculae are attached with spots, i.e. low quality coating
- casting defects on the housing of the otoscope (after you cut the off with knife it looks a bit better)
- cheaply produced speculae with casting defects, i.e. you have to cut these casting defects off with a knife otherwise it will partly block sight onto tympanic membrane
Good as a toy for a child but not for professional use.
I paid 16,50 €. Around 8 € would be a reasonable price for it.
