Must read before buying

1. BMS is used to lithium battery pack, different batteries connected in series are not compatible.


2. E.g: 13S BMS, can't be used to 12S batteries connected in series battery pack, must be used on 13S' batteries connected in series lithium battery pack.


3. And Li-ion(cells marked the voltage rated as 3.7V or 3.6V) battery BMS can't be used to LiFePo4(cells marked the voltage rated as 3.2V) battery,it must be used on LiPo / Ternary Lithium etc marked the voltage rated as 3.7V or 3.6V batteris.

Brief Introduction

About Lithium Battery: Li-ion battery nominal voltage is 3.6V, 3.7V, Lifepo4 battery nominal voltage is 3.2V lithium battery,and LTO battery nominal voltage is 3.2V lithium battery (including 18650, 26650, polymer battery etc.).


BMS Function: Overcharge protection function, over discharge protection function, over current protection function, short circuit protection function, battery balanced function, temperature protection function.


BMS Products: 7S or more adopts integrated scheme circuit, and 7S or less adopts single-section cascade scheme circuit.

Note: The MOS of the low-amperage protection board is installed on one side, and the aluminum board is also single-sided.

Integrated Circuit Solution

The protection board responds accurately and sensitively, which has more advantages than traditional solutions, saves circuit space, achieve the disconnection protection function.

New Class A MOS

Use the high quality MOS can ensure product quality, low internal resistance during discharge, and low temperature rise during long-term discharge, without affecting the output of the battery, making the control safer.

Temperature protection

The 3S-7S is equipped with a mechanical temperature sensor, and the 8S-24S is equipped with NTC temperature control to achieve functions such as charging temperature protection and discharge temperature protection, effectively improving the safety of battery use, and solving the potential safety hazards caused by thermal runaway of batteries.

Note: The MOS of the low-amperage protection board is installed on one side, and there isn't the aluminum heat sink 2.

Wiring Sequence

1. Please ensure to use parallel cable from YiTe(spacing is 2.54mm)

.

2. Please don't insert parallel cable into the BMS before connecting batteries,must make sure connecting with batteries correct first.


3. The sequence of connecting wires for BMS:


(1). From thin black parallel cable to start,the 2nd wire(red thin wire) connect with the 1st battery's positive pole.then connect each cell's positive pole in order until the last one B+


(2). Don't insert the connector directly after the wires were connected. measure the voltage between two adjacent metal terminals on the back of the connector.If it is Li-ion battery,the voltage should be between 3.0~4.2V.


(3). After the wiring sequence and voltage are confirmed to be correct,then insert into BMS.


(4). Adjust the multimeter to the buzzer position and measure the internal resistance between B- and P- when the internal resistance is ≤0.2Ω,there will be a beep, which means that the BMS is good. otherwise, don't weld and contact the customer severice.


(5). The last step to connect B-(thick blue wire) with battery pack's total negative pole.


4. After finished wiring:


Measure whether the (B+ and B-) voltage and (B+ and P-) voltage of the battery are equal,if yes,it means the BMS works normally and can be used.if not please recheck according to the above wiring sequence.

Important Tips:

Tips 1

The battery pack protection board, which is a semi-finished product of electronic

products, is a wearing part in case of wrong use.


If you don't understand how to use it, please read the manual carefully or ask the

customer service. Any wrong use will burn out the front end sampling resistor.

We will not accept such disputes of customer damage. Please do not buy if you mind.

Tips 2

The electronic switch formed by the protection board through the MOS, because of the voltage induction and the low internal resistanceof the MOS, some virtual voltage appears when it is turned off. This voltage cannot be used, and there will be no spark even if there is a short circuit. If you mind, don't buy it.

Tips 3

Precautions


1)Lithium battery protection boards of different voltage platforms cannot be mixed.

For example, iron-lithium batteries cannot use the protection board of ternary batteries


2)The design parameters and conditions of use must be followed during use;


3)The charging and discharging currents must not exceed the rated value;


4)Please use the protective plate within the specified working temperature and ensure a good heat dissipation environment around the protective plate;


5)Do not disassemble or change the components of the protection board by yourself;


6)Avoid contact between the heat sink and the battery core and nickel strip during assembly.
