2. [Important] Press the suction cup and U stabilizer hard for 1min, then let it rest for 1 to 3 days to gain high stickiness before using (at least 1 day).
3. Please clean the dashboard/windscreen where you are going to install the car phone mount with alcohol wool or a wet cloth, and wait for it to dry. And then press the mount base firmly to the surface attached, then press down the suction cup lock while the force to the base lasts.
4. If your dashboard is deeply textured, please use the dashboard pad firstly.
5. To ensure your phone is clamped firmly, please press the root of the clamp arms after placings the phone, and squeeze the arms until it clings closely to your phone.

Tips for Using this Car Phone Mount

1. This product is suitable for -20-75 degree temperature environment
2. Suitable for use in sealed (non breathable) automotive instrument panels, such as: plastic panels, EVA surfaces; can not be used on leather, textile flannel surfaces ;
3. The suction position of the suction cup is flat (not curved or meandered), and the surface texture should not be too rough (the groove width is less than 0.5mm thickness) ;
4. The glue suction cup should be kept clean. After the surface is dirty, it can be washed with water, dried and then used；
5. Suction plate pressure valve keeps open when packaged and not in use, ensuring product life
6. Remove the suction cup by using the pull tab.

    This phone holder is very impressive. It has a solid metal arm and a very accommodating cradle for the phone. The arm is super flexible capable of bending in a U-shape if necessary. I have a Galaxy Note 8 with a case and a finger loop attached to the case and it holds it solid. There's a button release on the cradle. The cradle is split at the bottom to allow charging while it's in the holder. This also sports a bridge-rest that helps to relive the strain of the weight on the suction cup. The bridge-rest has a sticky pad to mount firmly to the dash. The suction cup is very strong and sticky. It also comes with a smooth sticky disk that you can put on your dash for the suction cup if your dash is textured. My dash is textured and the suction cup is all I had to use. I also know that VanMass stands behind their product. They offer a 1yr warranty that extends to 3yr if you register. Their customer service is very helpful and responsive.

I feel so much safer using a phone holder that DOESNT fall off the dashboard or window! I also love this company! Helen provides amazing customer service!. Full disclosure, my favorite version of their car phone holder is the one that uses magnets to keep the phone on the mount instead of clicking it in. This phone holder can be dash mount or windshield mount (see mounting options in the listings product photos). You can also purchase Joyroom' other style which has a telescoping arm and you can attach that one to the windshield of you need two devices. This works great for me to see 2 maps systems and screens or it can be helpful for the passenger. Vanmass has the best customer service and warranty support! They are very responsive to emails and any and all concerns.

I've had issues in the past with the suction becoming un-sticky, but this one hasn't and it's been in my car for over a month now. My favorite thing is that you can move the holder arm around to fit the best position for your car. It's very sturdy and well-made. I would highly recommend for anyone that needs a holder for their phone while driving for navigation.

I liked the fact that you can install it to either your car dashboard or glass. It's super convenient and you can bend it to whatever angle you desire. The holder fits my phone perfectly, the size is actually adjustable so it doesn't matter what type of phone you have. I had been hesitant for a long time about getting a cell phone holder because I thought I didn't need one, however now I realize just how convenient it is. Especially during long car trips, a cell phone holder is a necessity! Now, using my phone as a GPS is easier than ever and I can use my phone to listen to music as I drive as well.
