According to Lenovo Group's official introduction, this report is another practical tool released by the United Nations Global Compact to guide companies to implement the Paris Climate Agreement after the “Enterprise Carbon Neutralization Path Map” released in July 2021. Moreover, for Lenovo Group, they were actually selected as advanced enterprise practice cases as early as 2022 with low-carbon practice. Compared with 2022, this year's report emphasizes “net zero emissions” rather than “carbon neutrality” in setting standards for corporate climate targets. The report encourages enterprises to set scientific carbon goals, achieve net zero emissions, and work together to ensure that carbon emissions in 2050 are reduced by at least 90% in 2020 levels.
