[Secret News]On September 20, at Hisense Video’s autumn new product launch conference, Hisense not only officially released E8H, but also released a new generation of display technology platform ULED X, and launched U8H, UX, etc. based on this technology platform. Heavy new product.
“U8H is Hisense’s masterpiece based on ULED It is the industry’s first reference-level product that provides the best picture quality experience for users in real-life scenarios, including online cinema-level experience,” Hisense TV product manager Li Minhua said at the press conference.
16bits ambient light control, good picture quality you can see
The biggest highlight of the Hisense U8H is its improved dimming accuracy. Specifically, it has been upgraded from 12 bits to 16 bits, achieving 4096×16 levels of intelligent light control. As a result, the ambient light contrast is now three times that of OLED. Furthermore, with ambient light intelligence, the U8H can sense changes in the user’s environment. Consequently, this allows users to enjoy excellent picture quality in any setting.
Hisense U8H uses a MiniLED backlight module with more than 2,000 partitions. With the cooperation of nearly 10,000 high-light-efficiency MiniLED chips, it can achieve more precise light control and make the look and feel clearer.
Hisense U8H features the industry’s first 8K AI image quality chip, developed independently by Hisense. It also includes a 10,000-level partition processing algorithm, addressing issues like image layering and halos in traditional TVs. The U8H uses a 1+N distributed driver chip architecture with 608 driver chips, providing five times more precise light control. For the first time, it achieves a stable peak brightness of 2,000 nits in a 1% small window. This results in a dynamic range twice that of OLED, allowing for better retention of light and dark details in the same image.
In addition, U8H has upgraded Hisense’s obsidian display technology, which can minimize the impact of ambient light on users’ viewing immersion. You can experience excellent color and contrast from different angles.
Zero-wall home integration design 30mm thinner than OLED
In terms of audio, the Hisense U8H features a dual theater sound system that delivers sound from all sides. It includes a 3.1.2 true multi-channel setup and a newly designed sky sound speaker. This speaker is 2.5 times more effective than regular sky sound speakers, enhancing the movie experience.
In terms of appearance, U8H adopts a zero-wall mural design. The screen is just 54mm from the wall, 30mm thinner than OLED. This creates a more harmonious home environment.
Currently, since Hisense launched its first ULED TV in 2013, Hisense has completed 6 innovative iterations of ULED products. “In the past ten years, ULED has made the greatest contribution to the industry and users. It has made multi-zone dynamic backlight control a standard in mid-to-high-end LCD TVs. This has driven the industry toward higher picture quality. Hisense TV Product manager Li Minhua said at the press conference.
In addition, according to Ovi data, since the first-generation ULED TV was launched in 2013, Hisense’s market share in the 10,000+ high-end market has increased from 6.9% in 2013 to 26.2% in 2022, and has maintained a growth trend. Since the first half of this year, Hisense ULED TVs have grown by more than 30% in key markets such as North America, Australia, and South Africa. In the second quarter of this year, the global shipment share of Hisense TVs jumped by two places to second place, which is also the best in Hisense’s history. score.
