In 2019, Google announced that it would abandon tablet computers. Prior to this, Google has made some efforts in the tablet market, including the launch of Pixel Tablet in 2023. Foreign media said that canceling Pixel Tablet 3 will significantly change Google’s hardware roadmap and also affect external partnerships.
Foreign media believe that Google did not really take this category seriously after launching the Pixel Tablet in 2023. Of course, this is just the hardware aspect, as the company’s team is continuing to develop software features for the tablet and foldable device.
